Note 3 Neo has a 5.5-inch Super-AMOLED HD display with 1280x720p screen resolution. The device is powered by a Exynos quad-core processor with Mali-T624 GPU coupled with a 2 GB RAM with 16 GB of internal storage. Note 3 Neo also offers a powerful 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and Full HD video recording support, even a 2 MP camera is also included to enable video chat facility. How to install TWRP recovery on Galaxy Note 3 Neo

  1. Download TWRP recovery(openrecovery-twrp-2.7.0.0-hlltexx.img.tar) and Odin 3.09 on your desktop. Better you make a specific folder for this.
  2. Extract the Odin on your PC after downloading.
  3. Switch off your device completely and reboot into download mode, Press & Hold Volume Down + Home Button + Power Button at same time to do so.
  4. Launch Odin.exe from the folder where you have extracted  the Odin file.
  5. Wait for Odin to detect your device. Then click on PDA button in Odin and select the TWRP Rrecovery Image tar file (openrecovery-twrp-2.7.0.0-hlltexx.img.tar). Only check Auto Reboot & F.Reset  option.
  6. Now click on start button to begin the recovery process.
  7. After completion you will get a PASS message.

That’s it!! TWRP recovery is successfully installed on your device. To check Recovery Mode, Power Off your device, Press and hold Volume Up + Home Button + Power Button.

How to root Galaxy Note 3 Neo

Rooting Galaxy Note 3 Neo is almost similar to installing TWRP recovery on it as you just followed the above tutorial.



  1. Extract the download CF-Auto Root file and go to extracted folder to check this file “CF-Auto-Root-hllte-hlltexx-smn7505.tar.md5” is there or not.
  2. Again switch off your device completely and reboot into download mode, Press & Hold Volume Down + Home Button + Power Button at same time to do so.
  3. Launch Odin.exe from the folder where you have extracted  the Odin file.
  4. Wait for Odin to detect your device. Then click on PDA button in Odin and select the TWRP Rrecovery Image tar file (CF-Auto-Root-hllte-hlltexx-smn7505.tar.md5). Only check Auto Reboot & F.Reset  option.
  5. Now click on start button to begin the recovery process.
  6. After completion you will get a PASS message.

Congrats! Your Galaxy Note 3 Neo got successfully rooted now and have TWRP Custom Recovery installed.
