How to operate Samsung Galaxy S5 with one hand

From past few years smartphones has became bigger and bigger and it has became difficult enough to operate the smartphone with the single hand. Especially using Samsung S series and Note series smartphones with one hand has become challenging. So this is the reason Samsung has introduced one handed mode to Samsung Note 3.

Samsung Galaxy S5 is the latest flagship smartphone form Samsung with 5.1 inch display. It is difficult to access the apps and the widgets on the screen and to play the games with the thumb finger. Now the same one handed mode of Note 3 is introduced to Samsung Galaxy S5. It is very easy to turn on the One handed operation mode on Samsung Galaxy S5.

  • To enable the one handed mode, Go to Settings<<One Handed Operation<<toggle on on/off switch.
  • After doing that swipe on the screen then it will bring the one handed use screen.
  • Now you can resize and customize it as you like. Resize i to the size which is convenient for you.
  • You can also adjust the screen to right or left side as you want. For example, if you are left handed then swipe the screen on to the left side.

Now your phone continuous to function as usual, but the thing is you are using the small screen size. It looks bit odd as the screen looks very small. But it is now very easy to navigate the entire screen with the single hand. At the top of the screen there are three buttons which allows you to return to the full screen, quick button for call log and a multi tasking option.

This handy one handed mode looks good with mutli tasking options, but you may loose the feel of 5.1 inch screen. You can use this one handed mode in specific conditions like playing games or while using any app.
