If you are using Android device and trying to update some apps and download some app and games, sometimes it will show that internal memory is full or insufficient storage available. So you can’t download the some apps and update for apps. The you need to move some apps from internal memory to SD card to free up some memory.
This is the main problem you face in the devices with the low internal memory. You can’t move the apps from internal memory to SD card in some of the Android phones running on Android 4.0-4.2 version and again this feature was re-enabled for the device running on 4.3 or higher.
Follow the below steps for how to move apps from phone memory to SD card.
Step 1 : Open the settings on your device by tapping on settings tab on home screen or app drawer from the device’s menu button.
Step 2 : Tap on the applications option present in the settings. This name may change according to the version or device you are using, like Applications, Apps or Application manager.
Step 3 : In the applications you will find the manage applications and tap on it. After tapping it you will find the application list installed on your device. If your using Android 2.2 you need to do this or if you are using the higher version you will already see the list of apps.
Step 4 : In the application list select the app which you want to move on to the SD card. If you find a button “Move to SD card”, then tap on it to move to the SD card, if it is in grey then you can’t move that app to the SD card. Only some specific apps will be sent on to the SD card.
Step 5 : You can also move the apps to SD card by using the App mover apps. Some apps like LINK2SD will help you to see which apps can be moved on to the SD card. This apps may also help to send the apps from internal memory to SD card.
If you root your phone then it is very easy to send the apps from internal memory to SD card.
