Hopscotch, Indian eCommerce platform focused on baby care and children’s products has raised $13 Million from Facebook’s Co-Founder Eduardo Saverin. With the latest investment, total investment raised by the startup has reached $28 Million.
Founded in 2011 by Harvard Business School Alumni, Rahul Anand and Lisa Kennedy, HopScotch sells the global brands of products such as toys, clothes, maternity wear, shoes and accessories for kids and moms.
With the raised funds, the startup is looking to get more products on the line along with marketing to gain more user base. Over the last few months, it has hired aggressively in the development segment and it plans to break even by the end of this year. The growth of the startup has been phenomenal and it has shown 700% performance on year-on-year basis.
