Started by IIT-Bombay alumni, Kovid Kapoor and Rohit Shroff and based in Delhi (India), Holidify aims to make holiday planning easier by suggesting the destinations to the customers. Started in early 2014, Holidify has already listed over 800 holiday destination across India with plans to increase that exponentially with the funding raised.

The angel round of funding will be used to enhance technology along with adding more content to the database including more holiday ideas.

The holiday options right now on Holidify include more of the weekend destinations. So we will be adding more of the long-trip destinations along with enhancing technology and adding things like iOS app to our portfolio. We have seen a great traction (Over 10x increase in last year on the website, which receives over half a million monthly visitors) and we are committed to provide the best possible information to our users. Rohit Shroff, CoFounder – HolidiFy said while speaking to The Bulletin Network.

With the website going live early 2014, Holidify came up with an Android App in June this year and the app has already got over 10,000 downloads. Holidify claims that the app is best rated among other India based travel apps. The Startup seems to be in talks to several VC firms to raise a bigger round of funding to scale operations on a bigger level.
