HealthEmind raises funds from Robin Uthappa

The trend of celebrities investing in startups has grown at a brisk pace lately, with the latest development including Indian Cricketer, Robin Uthappa.



According to the latest news, Robin Uthappa has invested an undisclosed amount in Indian Healthcare startup, HealthEMind. The startup is based in Bangalore and was founded in 2013 by Ankita Puri and Sunita Maheshwari. HealthEMind is an online psychology and psychiatry clinic providing wellness therapy and advice to the customers through video counselling.



Speaking on the development, Ankita Puri, CEO HealthEMind stated that the raised funds will be used to expand the operations across India and in launching a new product. She insisted on the fact that maintaining anonymity of a person is their biggest priority and they have been working on the same since a long time now.



Before Robin Uthappa, other Indian cricketers such as Yuvraj Singh, Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar have also invested in startups.
