Gympik raises pre series A round from RoundGlass Partners

GymPik, Indian startup for online fitness discovery has raised an undisclosed amount in pre series A round from RoundGlass partners.

It was founded in 2013 by Amaresh Ojha, an IIM graduate. The startup lists down all the fitness related outlets including gym, dance class, fitness center, martial arts, yoga classes and nutrition experts. The collected data from all these centers is then curated and listed down on the website.

The curated data includes information about programs, trainers, fee structure and timing schedule of various outlets listed on the website. It also provides live 360* tour of all the outlets listed on the website.

Right now, the platform has 10,000 outlets listed along with 6000 certified trainers. It has also developed an app for the outlets using which they can track performance of the users. Along with that, the user app calculates the calories burnt, BMI and BMR, along with providing daily health related tips.

The raised funds will be used to expand in new locations and developing even better technology in the time to come.
