Google’s new Chromecast to feature better Wi-Fi & Fast Play

Google is set to unveil the new version of the Chromecast device at the Google’s event later this month, reports 9to5Google. According to the report of the site, the second generation of this media streaming device will come with some more features than the previous version of the device and the upgrades includes better Wi-Fi along with some other new features.



This second generation of Chromecast will come with a support option for content feeds. This device would also include a new feature named “Fast Play” that let you connect the Chromecast to other devices easily and quickly than its predecessor. Though the picture of the device is not very clear, this new device will have same shape as the previous version and will come in different color options.

According to the leaked document, Google is also planning to launch a new device named Chromecast Audio. This new device allows you to connect the device to speakers through an auxiliary cord. The 9to5Google report also suggests that this Chromecast Audio will come with multi-room feature along with the ability to mirror your Chrome and Android audio that will boost your audio quality to “high quality”.



These are the rumors and no exact specification has been released about the device, but don’t worry folks, as we don’t have to wait for a long time to know about this. The company is going to unveil these products at the event by Google on September 29th.
