Google’s MyGlass App updated to version v3.0 with new interface

Google has pushed an update to the Google’s MyGlass app, which is a companion app to the Google Glass and this update changes the version number from v2.2 to v3.0. MyGlass is the app that lets you to configure and manage your Google Glass device. The ┬ánew update to My Glass app has brought the facility to share the places from Google maps directly to the Glass using the “Share” button. Now Google Glass will receive the directions automatically and navigate to the places.

The update also brings the refurbished User Interface which now tries to put the Glassware at front and the center. The new slick interface now centered around the slide out menu, which breaks out the Glassware gallery, device info, your active glassware and selected contacts in separate views.


The new interface, the app got with the new update is more friendly than the previous one and the latest glassware looks more rich with the example screenshots with a brief description in each listing and run down of permissions. This update also brought some bug fixes.

Now anyone in the US can but the Google Glass at $1,500, but still it is a beta version. The cost of the Smart Glass may be reduced once the beta tag is removed. Now the update is rolled out to the My Glass app in Google Play Store. There is a tag below the app in the Google Play Store that, ” If you don’t have a Google glass then it is waste to download the My Glass app.
