Reading comics on the smartphone with small screen has always been bit tedious tasks, the main reason behind this problem is strict dimensions of PDF and comic books that sometime requires lots of zooming. Google has a solution for this problem with the new update of its Google Play Books apps.

Now, Google has announced a new update to its Google Play Books on Android platform that will give you better comics reading experience. Users can read their comics quite comfortably with this new app even if you don’t have large display smartphone. This new update is specifically designed to make your comic reading experience easy and better.

If you have bought any comics on the Play Store, you can easily read them with this app from Google. Users can select to view pages in vertical view, you just have to tip your smartphone on its side. Keep scrolling down to navigate through the pages and to next pages. This is pretty simple, right.

Google is also adding a new tore page that will be the one stop destination for new comic books, curated lists and some other features. It will also come with a personalized recommendation feature. Users can organize their comics based on the volume and the issue.

Google wrote on its official blog about these changes. According to Google, Google Play Books will have comics from all major publishers like DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, IDW and Image. Initially, Google will allow you to download a number of comics for free.

This new update to Google Play Books will roll out for Android platform in few days, while update for iOS platform will come after that.
