Nexus 6

Nexus 6 after the official launch has become competitor to many high end devices in fact Nexus 6 is going to compete with almost every high end devices across the planet. Google along with Motorola launched this device with power packed hardware and eye catching design. But if you look it as side view, you will get feelings of Motorola Moto X rather than Nexus. As always Google launch any Nexus device with the new Android version, here the Nexus 6 is the first device to taste Lollipop version of Android.

Nexus 6

The Google Nexus 6 comes with a 5.96-inch QHD (1440 x 2560 pixels) display having pixel density of 493 ppi. The smartphone packs a strong and powerful processor of 2.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor paired with 3 GB RAM. The phone will be available in two storage variant 32 GB and 64 GB on-board. Its 13-megapixel rear camera along with LED flash is ready to capture your every moment with easy and it also has a 2 mega-pixel front shooter for taking selfie. Its good to see that Motorla has packed a decent 3200 mAh battery that offers long lasting support to keep the device live longer.

Apart from discussing the features of Nexus 6, lets compare the very popular recently launched Galaxy Nexus 4. According to Samsung the Note 4 is one of the best smartphone they have ever made. I think we are going to get some interesting conclusion meanwhile comparing these devices.

Google Nexus 6 vs Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Display

Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Display wise it is difficult to say anything as the Galaxy Note 4 features a Super AMOLED capacitive QHD touchscreen with a resolution 1440 x 2560 pixels, 5.7 inches (~515 ppi pixel density) while the Nexus 6 is also offering 5.96 inches QHD (1440 x 2560 pixels) display having pixel density of 493 ppi. This time Nexus has really worked hard to bring so bright and vivid display allows you to work efficiently with sunlight. Video experience is also better. The only difference between Nexus 6 and Note 4 is S-Pen feature that allows Note 4 users easy to use the touch panel.

Design

In term of design, Nexus 6 looks more like recently launched 2nd generation Moto X. At the front panel, there isn’t any hardware key, in fact basic keys have been included with the display panel. But as a tech savvy I’d never miss the change to hold the Note 4 in my hand to use the features like heart rate sensor, S Pen, Multi Windows feature and more.

Camera

It will be quick if we say anything about the camera that has been packed with the Nexus 6 unless we got hand on with it but as we have seen in recent Motorola devices, camera would be good. While Galaxy Note 4 houses a 16 MP camera able to record 4K video which is an amazing features that Samsung has added to this device to make it different than others. Here Nexus 6 failed to impress their audience compared to Note 4.

Memory

Samsung is the only smartphone that always try to offer freedom to expand memory after grabbing it. Here HTC has made devices in two variant based on on board memory 32 GB and 64 GB while Galaxy Note 4 has offered 32 GB of on board memory that can be expandable up to 32 GB more according to the need. Both Nexus 6 and Note 4 packs 3 GB of RAM to support their processors for better performance and longer battery life.

Battery

Power management has become an important issue for every smartphone making company and that is the reason why they have started powerful battery to keep the device live longer. Both the device packs almost same battery, Nexus 6 packs 3200 mAh battery while Note has slightly better which is 3220 mAh.
