Google has recently launched Nexus 6 and after launch it has became competitor to many high end devices. In fact Nexus 6 is going to compete with almost every high end devices across the planet. Google along with Motorola launched this device with power packed hardware and eye catching design. But if you look it as side view, you will get feelings of Motorola Moto X rather than Nexus. As always Google launch any Nexus device with the new Android version, here the Nexus 6 is the first device to taste Lollipop version of Android.
Google Nexus 9 is the toughest competitor for the Moto X 2nd Generation smartphone. Although, both the devices are manufactured by Motorola they are giving tough competition to each other with their specs and features.

Design and Display
As both them are manufactured by Motorola, Nexus 6 design resembles Moto X design. It looks like the bigger version of Moto X. At the front panel, there isn’t any hardware key, in fact basic keys have been included with the display panel. The Motorola logo on the back side of Nexus 6 is also same like on Moto X.
Although, design is same the display and other specification differ. Google Nexus 6 comes with 5.96 inches with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution AMOLED capacitive touchscreen where as Moto X has 5.2 inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution AMOLED capactive touch screen and both are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Most of the specifications are features of both the devices are almost similar and so camera is also. Both sports 13 Megapixel camera with autofocus, face detection, Geo-tagging and more other features. Both the devices sports 2 Megapixel front camera which can record 2160p videos at 30 fps and comes with optical stabilization.
Processor, Storage and OS
Nexus 6 is powered by Quad-Core 2.7 GHz Krait 450 CPU with Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, where as Moto X is powered by 2.5 Quad-core Krait 400 CPU with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. Nexus 6 packs 3 GB RAM and comes with 32 GB/64 GB internal storage and no micro SD card slot is provided. Moto X comes with 2 GB RAM along with 16 GB/32 GB internal memory and it also doesn’t feature micro SD card option. Moto X runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat version and can be upgradable to Android L, where as Nexus 9 comes with Android L Operating System.
Battery and Pricing
Nexus 9 packs Non removable Li-Po 3220 mAh battery which can offer 24 hours of talktime, where as Moto X packs only Li-Ion 2300 mAh battery which is non removable.
Coming to the pricing details, Moto X costs at Rs.32,000, where as Google Nexus 6 is expected to priced at Rs.40, 000.
