In addition to the new Chromecast, Google has also launched Chromecast Audio, which is similar to the Chromecast device that outputs only audio. Chromecast Audio is the latest device from Google, which solves the problem of streaming music over the entire home.

This device comes with same circular design and micro USB power port as the latest Chromecast from Google. The major difference between Chromecast and Chromecast Audio is that the later comes with 3.5 inches audio cable instead of HDMI dongle of Chromecast 2.0. This device comes in cool and bright yellow color option.

People have to plug the Chromecast Audio into one power source and then into a speaker via its 3.5 mm audio jack. After this, you have to set up the device with the new Chromecast app present on your smartphone or tablets. Now, users can cast their music from multiple sources like Spotify and Google Play Music.

Still, this new Chromecast Audio works similar to the regular Chromecast like it can also connect through Wi-Fi in your home and is controlled by your phone. You can play music, stream music from SoundCloud or you can even play music from YouTube without watching videos. This new device from Google can prove very useful of you select pretty good speakers and connect them to Chromecast Audio.

Chromecast Audio also comes at the price of $35 and currently available in 17 countries including US, UK and Australia.
