Google launches Android One Smartphones

The search giant announced the first Android One smartphones which includes

  • Karbonn Sparkle V.
  • Micromax Canvas A1.
  • Spice Dream Uno.

these smartphones will be available from their respective online retail partners in India from 3:30 pm on Monday, with physical retail store availability in early October.


Karbonn will be available in Magnum Blue, Mild Grey, Wild, pearl white color variants exclusively via Snap deal at Rs 6399 and the Spice dream uno will be available in Black and White color variants exclusively via at Flip-kart at Rs 6299. The Micromax canvas A1 will be in black, White colors with a price of  Rs. 6499.

Google also says that Android one phones offer high quality experience, running the Android 4.4 kitkat. The company added these phones will be the first to release the Android L release and update that new material design improved battery life and has enhanced security features also the notifications which are smarter.

All the these above three devices has almost similar specifications with dual SIM Slot, FM Radio tuner and micro SD card slot for extra storage. Google apps in this device includes Gmail, You tube, Google search, Google Maps. These three devices Karbonn Sparkle V, Micromax Canvas, Spice Dream uno Comes with display of 4.5 inch  480X854 pixels IPS FWVGA and powered by 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek Processor with 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory and this memory can be expandable up to 32 GB with the help of Micro Card SD.

Devices come with a rear camera of 5 megapixel with LED flash and 2 GB secondary camera facing on its front which acts as a secondary camera. The connectivity of this devices includes WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, GPRS and the these Smartphones comes with 1700 mAh battery. Google also announced that Airtel is offering out discounts to reduce the data rates. Stay tune for more updates.
