Google Flights launched in India

Good news from Google, they have launched new flight search tool called Google Flight in India. The tool provides the users to look up their options to fly from their desktops or smartphones.

The tool is user friendly, gives the user to select options of round trip, one way trip or multi city trip. By default Google Flights will pick up the city wherever you are and give option to change it. With the calendar option user can select the date accordingly. Finally the user has to select number of passenger are travelling. Google Flights will search the best option in terms of money, the tool positions cheapest flight on top. The tool lists all the available flight with the ticket price in ascending order.


Google Flights also provides an option to book international flights for the user. One more prominent feature would be that the lowest ticket prices are mentioned over Google Maps for each city where flights are available if you are using inside Google Flights. User has to click on expand maps. Google maps will expanded with The prices will be lowest prevailing rates. The tool shows a bar graph where the lowest fare of the day is highlighted.

Once the flight is selected, Google Flights connects to the website of that particular price and user can further finish the formality of ticket booking. In India, Google Flights has tied up with for booking tickets.

Last year, Google Flights received a major overhaul in terms of designs. The tool has become more interactive and provides more accurate information. When you are searching for information, in Google Maps will display prominent places of the destination city. It will also lessen the burden on the online air ticket bookings portals too.
