Google fiber reportedly coming to San Francisco

Google has announced the launch of much awaited and celebrated internet service from the tech giant in San Francisco. However, to begin with, Google fiber will be launched in selected areas of the city including few apartments and affordable housing properties.

In a detailed official blog post, Google stated that the move was taken in order to make the service easily and quickly accessible to the residents of the country. For the initial launch, Google will be using the existing fiber network instead of distributing a new network which might take some more time.

The interested residents can sign up at the Google fiber page and receive updates about the service in their are as and when it comes.
