Lately, BlackBerry created headlines with the launch of the square shaped Passport smartphone. Now, there are reports suggesting that the vendor could be prepping a Gold Edition of this smartphone soon. Well, the Gold Edition has been leaked via 3 images by CrackBerry revealing golden side bezels, power and volume buttons.
The images clearly reveal a Gold Edition of the BlackBerry Passport clad in its retail box in a store tipping the imminent launch of it. An image is tagged ‘Parisrosegold’ that is a firm known for making the Gold Edition devices for other manufacturers. The other details regarding the specifications and features of BlackBerry Passport are already known as the internal hardware should definitely remain the same.
Launched on last month, the BlackBerry Passport comes with a 4.5 inch square IPS LCD display with 1440×1440 pixel resolution translating to a pixel density of 453 ppi. The handset also features a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor coupled with Adreno 330 graphics unit and 3 GB of RAM. There is ample 32 GB of inbuilt storage capacity that can be expandable via micro SD card up to 128 GB. The other aspects of the device include a 13 MP rear camera with OIS and BSI sensor and a 2 MP front shooter. It uses a 3,450 mAh battery that is claimed to pump in up to 30 hours of backup under mixed usage.
