Gapoon, Home Maintenance Startup raises Angel Funding

Gapoon, an India based startup offering home maintenance services has raised INR 1.2 Cr from Mr. Chandrashekar Tallapragada and other. The raised funding will be used to acquire more customers along with strengthening the presence in the home city, Bangalore.



Founded in 2015 by IIT Graduates, Gapoon provides all the home maintenance related services as on-demand as well subscription model. The services on Gapoon’s portfolio include Plumbing, Electricians, house cleaning, pest control, painting and carpentry.



This is the second round of investment raised by the startup. Before this, it had raised the first round of Angel fund in July 2015. The subscription based model was introduced in December 2015 and the startup already claims to have got over 1500 people signing up for it. It boasts of registering exponential growth with both the models and looking to multiply the numbers in the time to come.



Speaking on this development, Mr. Chandrashekar Tallapragada expressed his belief on the ideology of the team and stated that in the growing competition, Gapoon has retained its position with the impeccable subscription based model and service quality. We are hopeful of achieving bigger milestones in the time to come.
