GameTime, last minute ticketing solution raises $13 Million in Series A funding


GameTime, a popular last minute online ticketing solution which has, over the last 18 months, helped a lot of sports enthusiasts to book tickets at the last minute at competitive prices recently closed Series A funding of around $ 13 Million led by Accel partners.


GameTime is a mobile only platform operating on an app. The app collects the information about the available seats in a locality and flashes that on the screen, giving the users an option to book the ticket with the help of a few swipes. If you have booked the ticket for your friends or family as well, the tickets can be shared using email or text. The ability of taking the mobile version of the ticket to the game has decreased the last minute hassle of exchanging the tickets or picking them up from the will call window at the last minute, keeping you stress free to enjoy your game.

In the last 18 months, company has seen 600 percent annual growth, making the journey phenomenal. The app is now available in 35 markets and the tickets are available for as much as 150 teams. GameTime has partnered with various teams to sell their seats and third part re-sellers to help users find the best seats available.

The latest round of funding includes the investment of $8 million which comes on top of $5 million investment company had raised recently from Accel Partners. With the new investment, the series A investment is not closed for GameTime and the company is all set to fly high on 600 percent growth rate.
