Gadgetwood funded by India Angel Network



Gadgetwood funded by IAN (Indian Angel Network) and a bunch of individual investors. The Delhi based company has raised undisclosed amount of funds recently.

The company launched in 2013, started with an idea of offering users in India with quality repair service and dependable technical support in consumer electronics, backed by a knowledgeable and certified team of resources serving customers online and at the doorstep of customers.

Gadgetwood claims to be India’s first professionally managed multi brand repair and support services for smartphones, tablets and computers. The company has introduced ExpressService where guaranteed services for certain problems within 24 hours. They offer several service plans like one time services and annual maintenance contract.

Right now they offer door step service in Delhi and NCR region. After repair warranty for one time service will 15 days and for AMC – 365 days. Whereas free unlimited remote support for one time support will 30 days along with free phone support

Free hardware repair offered for 15 days and free software and application support will be provided in one time support. However all these services will be for free for AMC clients. Hardware replacement charged extra for all the clients irrespective of plan chosen.

Gadgetwood plans to start services all over India via remote technology. They are in the process of innovating services for SMB’s and OEMs. The company was founded by Jayant Jha, Ankit Saraf and Anmol Gupta. Jayant Jha is the Chief Executive Officer of the company and has rich professional experiences in hardware field.


He has graduated in Bachelor of Commerce from Delhi University in 2010. In 2007 he worked as Resolution expert in Wipro BPO and provided technical support for US based Customers and he moved out of Dell in 2008 and joined Quatrro as Solution Engineer. Jayant was providing support for core windows OS and other services. He moved on to become Senior Solution Engineer in the company.

In Feb 2011, (LemonLearn eServices P Ltd) as team leader operations. He handled entire operations of the team and was responsible to maintain service level apart handling customer queries and escalation. He went on to become Operations Manager in 2012. In 2013 he founded Gadgetwood.

Ankit Saraf is co founder of Gadgetwood and he has dual graduation (Bachelors and Masters) in Business Administration from Bundelkhand University in 2010. He started his career as Trainee in Indiabulls Real Estate and moved to Envirotech Consultant P Ltd as Account Executive and was handling company accounts, monitor, control daily transactions and account related activities.


He moved to (LemonLearn eServices P Ltd) as Manager – Finance and Accounts in 2010. Ankit was handling accounts and finance for the company which had offices in metros like Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai and Hyderabad. He played a vital role in securing Series ‘A’ funding for the company. In 2013 he founded Gadgetwood with Jayant.

Anmol Gupta is co founded of Gadgetwood. He has dual degree (BCA and MCA) from IPS Academy in 2010. He started his career as Junior Software Developer in the Directorate of Education, New Delhi in 2010 and in 2011 (LemonLearn eServices P Ltd) as Senior Software Developer. He was instrumental in development of CRM module and integration of the module. In 2013 he became Project Lead and he founded Gadgetwood along with Jayant and Ankit.


Gadgetwood has raised undisclosed amount from a bunch of individual investors like Ajai Chowdhry of HCL Technologies, Ashvin Chadha of North India Sotheby’s International, and Nitin Singhal of Fresco Global, Yogesh Bansal of and Indian Angel Network.

Ashvin Chadha and Yogesh Bansal will join the board of Gadgetwood. The funding will be used for strengthening the core team, technology enhancement and expansion. Gadgetwood is in discussions with venture capitalists for their Series ‘A’ funding.

There are several companies like PICKme eSolutions India P Ltd which operates will directly competing with Gadgetwood. PICKme has been funded for $500,000 during 2013 by Mumbai Angels, Bangalore Angels and Chennai Angels.
