The very-addictive Flappy Bird has made its triumphant return after about an year, but as of now it is only available on the Amazon Fire TV. Oh, and it’s now Flappy Birds Family. Basically it is the new modified version of the flash-in-the-pan smash hit game was promised to return this month, and indeed it has, just not in a form we were anticipating.
So what is Flappy Birds Family? Here is what described by the developer:
Flappy Birds now are on Amazon Fire TV with incredible new features: Person vs Person mode, more obstacles, more fun and still very hard. Enjoy playing the game at home (not breaking your TV) with your family and friends. – Drive the bird through pipes and ghosts – Play and share your best score – Challenge your friends
The new refurbished Flappy Birds Family supports Amazon’s Fire TV remote and also compatible with its video game controller — the game now hint players to “push” a button, rather than “tap” the touchscreen.
Flappy Bird for Android and iOS was launched back in 2013. While the game was free to download for everyone, Nguyen reportedly made 10 thousands a day from ads. Nguyen dropped the game from both Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store February when it became very popular. At the time, Nguyen stated he discarded the game because of its obsessive nature.
Now people waiting for this insane game on your Android or iOS might need to wait little more, soon it is coming back for smartphones as well.
