Location based FindYahan funded by The Phonenix Fund for an undisclosed amount today. FindYahan India Private Ltd runs location based lifestyle services marketplace. The location based discovery platform connects skilled individuals and home businesses to target customers in effective manner.
The company offers services in Delhi NCR region has over 100,000 users and claims to have over 4,000 supplies with over 50,000 downloads on Android environment. FindYahan has many categories such as food services providers, domestic help, tutors, event managers, wellness and beauty services providers, the list is endless.
FindYahan was founded in 2013 by Rachit Mathur and Snehil Khanor. Rachit Mathur is the Chief Executive Officer of the company. He has been graduated from York University in 2005 and post graduation in International business and marketing from Institute of Management Technology in 2008.
Rachit has been awarded as Global Youth Leadership Award – 2009 from Youth Association India. He has rich entrepreneurship traits and founded Masticart.com in 2008. The company is mainly into product sourcing, customer relations and few other verticals.
In 2013, he worked with Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG) as a consultant. In July 2013 he co founded FindYahan.com.
Snehil Khanor is co founder of FindYahan.com. He is Chief Product Officer of the company. Snehil is web entrepreneur and several awards on his sleeve. He has graduated in Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Apeejay College of Engineering in 2012.
During his college days he has taken several projects that brought him laurels. He has launched several apps such as printland. He designed stickies in 2011. Snehil designed mobile site and android app for Letsbuy.com. Snehil is the founder and blogger for Binary log the blog.
FindYahan was funded recently in two instances. In February 2015, they were seed funded an undisclosed amount by Parvesh Bareja – Managing Director of Helios Packaging P Ltd and Karan Bajwa – Managing Director of Microsoft India, Sunjay Kapur – Managing Director of Sona Koyo Steering and Amanpreet Bajaj – Airbnb.com India head.
The funds will be used for further expansion in terms of team and operations, technology for customer service and experience.
Amit Khanna leds The Phoenix Fund, is multi asset private investment firm. The fund basically invests in early stage startups. They have invested in companies like Overcart and Hopscotch to name a few.
