Facebook is biggest social networking site without any doubt, but it is still growing makes it even more formidable. Facebook has achieved a very special milestone, as Mark Zuckerberg has announced that one billion people have used the social networking site on Monday. This also means that one out of seven people on the earth used Facebook that particular day.

The Facebook founder Zuckerberg wrote in a post, β€œOn Monday, 1 in 7 people on Earth used Facebook to connect with their friends and family, when we talk about our financials, we use average numbers, but this is different. This was the first time we reached this milestone, and it’s just the beginning of connecting the whole world.”

This data proves the power of the social networking site and all other social networks looks tiny when compared to Facebook. This is also good news for the team of Facebook, as they have always found a way to keep entertaining its users and even attracting new users.

Zukerberg also added, β€œA more open and connected world is a better world. It brings stronger relationships with those you love, a stronger economy with more opportunities, and a stronger society that reflects all of our values, Thank you for being part of our community and for everything you’ve done to help us reach this milestone. I’m looking forward to seeing what we accomplish together.”
