Etsy, the handmade goods e-commerce company is partnering with Postmates to test same day or next day delivery option in some parts of New York City. If you want to get your handmade products as soon as possible or same day, then this is a good news for you folks.

Postmates, the delivery company already delivers packages and food orders for the company like Apple, McDonald’s, Chipotle and Starbucks. The senior product manager of shipping and order management at Etsy said to Re/code, “We hear from sellers that they get constant requests from buyers for getting stuff really fast, they feel they are in a bind and actually it’s technologically almost impossible for them to get something to buyers the day or day after it’s ordered.”

This service of Etsy named as “Etsy ASAP” is going to be available for sellers in Queens, Manhattan and parts of Brooklyn where Postmates service is available. Sellers of these areas should enable this option for their customers to use the same day delivery option.

You’ll have to pay additional $20 for same day delivery option. Etsy said that the testing period would be on through holiday season. Once the trail period is over, the company would decide on future steps about this same day delivery option.
