eSwasthya, Medicine Delivery Startup raises Angel Funding

ESwasthya, India based online medicine delivery platform has secured funding from Lothal Angel Ventures, the amount has been kept undisclosed by the startup as well as the investor.



eSwasthya, an Ahmedabad based startup, founded in 2014 by Yash Shah is an online platform which delivers medicines and surgical instruments. It has tied up with the medicine stores across the city and helps users get the desired medicines at the discounted rate from a store nearest to them. The startup currently uses website, app and email as the ways to place the order.



Also, to overcome any irregularity, the startup makes sure that the customer has the original prescription at the time of the delivery. Due to the rules of Indian government, any medicine is to be sold by a registered pharma store and to comply with that, the startup has tied up with handpicked stores.



Along with the delivery of medicines, eSwasthya also takes care of the pathological services. Currently, it boats of over 40,000 users on the platform and it operates in Vadodara, Nasik in addition to the parent home city, Ahmedabad.
