Dome9 Security raises $8.3 million in Series B funding

Dome9 Security, pioneer in security and compliance for public clouds has announced it raising $8.3 million in Series B round of funding led by ORR Partners along with new investors JAL Ventures, Pinnacle and Lazarus Israel Opportunity Fund and existing investors Opus Capital Ventures.

The Israeli cyber-security startup Dome9 Security is a public cloud security and compliance vendor which targets on the creation of security policies, risk visualization and threat remediation. Various public clouds that includes Amazon Web Services, Windows Azure and IBM Softlayer. Dome9 Clarity is one of the unique services of the company that is trusted by many enterprises to concisely visualize security policies and maps threat across organizations’ clouds.



With the fresh funds, the Dome9 Security plans to boost its growth among enterprise cloud users. Apart from the new funding, there has been some changes on the board. Avery More, founder and managing partner of ORR partners, seed investor and board member of Solar Edge takes the position as Chairman of the Board. He is joined by Joshua Levinberg, founder and managing partner at JAL Ventures and co-founder of Gilat Satellite Networks. Also, Herb Madan, seasoned venture investor and Silicon Valley executive has joined Dome9’s advisory board.
