CynogenMod 11 for Sony Xperia L goes official

Sony Xperia L was launched in 2013, but which is not a huge success. However it became very popular as budget smartphone internationally especially in emerging markets in South East Asia and South America. But unfortunately Sony hasn’t released many updates to it and has been stuck on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2. Now after so many days there is a good news for the Xperia L users. Even though this device won’t get many updates but the official CynogenMod 11 for Sony Xperia L has been rolled out to it. The first nightly build ca be downloaded on Sony Xperia L.


Coming to its specifications it features a 4.3 inch FWVGA display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution and ~228 ppi pixel density. It is powered by the 1 GHz Dual Core Qualcomm MSM8230 Snapdragon Processor along with Adreno 305 GPU. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and can be upgradable to Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. It comes with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage out of which 5.8 GB is user available and expandable up to 32 GB using micro SD card.

It sports rear camera with 8 MP featuring auto focus, LED Flash, touch focus, Geo-tagging and more. It also has secondary VGA camera which is good for video calls and you can’t expect High Quality selfies with it. It packs the 1,750 mAh battery which can give the decent backup.
