Apple partners with Croma to launch Apple Store in India

Finally, Apple Store is coming to India. Currently Apple has partnered with various retailers to offer its products in India, but still there is not even a single dedicated Apple Stores in one of the fastest growing country. Now, Apple has partnered with an Indian retailer named Croma to open an Apple Store. Croma is an electronic store, which is owned by Tata.

Avijit Mitra, the CEO of Infiniti Retail that owns Croma, said, “We are proud to partner Apple to launch the Apple Store in India and extremely bullish about it, these stores will be modeled on the global design and will offer the best experience to consumers, showcasing the entire range of Apple products.”

Croma will set 400 to 500 square feet area for Apple Store, which will be set up at five of its store in Mumbai including Phoenix Mall, Malad, Oberoi Mall, Ghatkopar and Juhu. It will also launch Apple store at Jayanagar in Bengaluru. These stores will be opened by this Diwali.

The design of this Apple store will be same as the other Apple stores, which is spread all over the world. Its sales employees will also be trained by Apple. Currently, Apple sells its product in India through various retailers, but this is going to be first Apple Store in India. Apple is also going to officially launch its iPhone 6s and iPhone 6S Plus in India later this week.
