Brandwatch, the social intelligence company announced it raising $33 million in Series C round of funding led by Partech Ventures along with existing investors Highland Europe and Nauta Capital.
Founded in 2007, Brandwatch is a leading social intelligence company in the global market with its two products – Brandwatch Analytics and Vizia – that help in smarter decision-making around the world. The Brandwatch Analytics platform collect countless online conversations every day and offers its users with the tools to analyze them and give meaningful insights for various brands. Meanwhile Vizia distributes visually engaging insights to the physical places where the action takes place.
With the fresh funds, Brandwatch plans to invest to boost development of the company’s core technologies and products to keep up the high standards in a tough global social landscape. It is also working to build on its recent work with American clients like Walmart with opening up more operational offices in the country. With a strong market in USA, it is planning to open operations in Singapore. It also aims to add new brands to its partnership network.
Brandwatch’s clientele list includes Samsung, Cisco Systems, and Sony Music and quite recently it has included many new brands to its 1200 and more strong customers. Few months ago, the company launched Brandwatch signals, that notifies users in real-time of the drastic or unexpected changes in the social data.
