Bangalore based BookYourGame, the startup which lets the users book fitness centers without subscribing for a membership, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding led by Sanjay Verma (Former CEO – Cushman & Wakefield) and Amit Khanna (Managing partner Antuit). The deal took place through one of India’s most popular deal making platform, LetsVenture. The raised funds will be used for marketing and brand building.

BookYourGame, started in February this year, allows users to book a session at a fitness center based on the price and locality. The rate per session vary from INR 50 to INR 400.

Along with helping the individuals get a session near them, the startup also provides a SaaS solution to help the fitness centers engage with their customers along with providing them data and analytics on the details. In future, the startup is also planning to add a networking feature to the app, which will allow the users create their own circles and compare the fitness levels with others in the circle or share it with friends privately.

Talking on the development, Devi Prasad Biswal stated that the idea was validated as soon as the startup launched in february this year. He further added that at the time when flipkart’s valuation was corrected, Indian investors were hesitating to lead the round. However, the struggles paid off and after presenting to over 55 investors, finally Amit Khanna and Sanjay Verma agreed to lead the round.

Sanjay Verma, Lead investor in the round stated his belief in the idea saying that the model is really scalable and the approach of founders was the thing which made him interested in investing.
