Blackberry officially launched Blackberry Z3 Jakarta Edition

As reported earlier, BlackBerry has officially launched the new budget smartphone the BlackBerry Z3 today. The latest BlackBerry 10 OS device will be available only in Indonesia starting May 15th. The BlackBerry Z3, Jakarta edition was built especially for Indonesian consumers and will include a limited-edition variant with a Jakarta caption on the back. Owners will also be able to get an attractive sticker pack for BBM by Indonesian illustrator Susilo Saptoady.


The new BlackBerry Z3, Jakarta Edition will go on sale for IDR 2,199,000 (roughly at $199 USD) and will be available for at all authorized retailers and BlackBerry Lifestyle stores in Indonesia.

It is the first smartphone from Blackberry manufactured by the Canadian firm’s partnership with Taiwanese tech giant Foxconn, which makes mainly gadgets for the Apple. The BlackBerry Z3, especially designed for Indonesian users but soon it will likely be introduce in other markets, it is the first BlackBerry phone since chief executive John Chen said the crisis-hit company in November of the last year 2013.

The Blackberry Z3 has a 5 inch screen with 540×960 p resolutions powered by 1.2 GHz Qualcomm MSM8230 processor which is coupled with 1.5 GB of RAM. It even houces 8 GB internal storage which can be expandable up to 32 GB via MicroSD card.
