Blackberry confirms new Smartphone with 4.5-Inch 453 PPI Display

The Canadian phone maker Blackberry  is confirming a  new Smartphone is coming with 4.5 inch display which offering 453 ppi pixel density. The resolution of the Smartphone is near about resolution 1440 x 1440 pixel. The latest Smartphone might be launched in the third quarter of this year.

On this Wednesday Blackberry has published a software development kit BlackBerry 10.3 beta for developers to test applications on the Operating System before its launch. The update is mainly targeted only for new device hardware which has being introduced in this year. The SDK of the beta version is available to download through the BlackBerry’s developer site.

BlackBerry’s said that the  new device is coming with 1440×1440 resolution and pixel density of 453 DPI,’ which if one calculates, would indicate a display with a diagonal length of 4.5 inches.  The Candian handset makrer only shares  the screen information, of the device, thet does not procvide the other specification of the device, like which processor has been used, amount of RAM, Camera specs and many more things.



Blackberry only mentioned in its official blog page the latest handset will be running on the latest Blackbeery 10.3.1 OS. This takes us back to BlackBerry’s revival strategy divided in four smartphone categories.
