Remerge, a Berlin-based ad-retargeting firm has recently announced it raising $3 million in Series A round of funding led by Point Nine Capital along with Valor, VC Fonds Technologie, German Startup Group, West Tech Ventures and Rheingau Ventures. This funding amount along with last year’s seed funding bring the company’s total funding to $4 million.
Founded in 2014 by Pan Katsukis, Benedikt Bohm, Christian Wolter, Martin Karlsch and Benjamin Beivers, the startup Remerge provides service that permit app developers to re-engage their lapsed users inside other apps and in all countries around the world as a means to boost retention and user lifetime value by initiating active users, purchases, orders, bookings, subscriptions and revenues. The startup processes 1,300 billion bid requests and 1.2 billion user events every month for big advertisers like Spotify, Funstage, Foodpanda, Rocket Internet and 35 other corporate clients.
Remerge takes the latest upcoming trend in digital marketing which is ad-targeting and find ways to extend new ads on the various other apps. “We are thrilled to see our customers achieve such great results via our technology-heavy approach to app retargeting,” said Katsukis. The company claims it reaches 260,000 users per second across 330,000 apps.
With the amount raised through funding, Remerge plans to expand its operations to San Francisco in USA. Also, it plans to fine-tune and improve its technologies for better service.
