AT&T’s gigabit internet finally lands in Chicago


It’s been quite some time since we first got to know about AT&T’s plans to launch a 1 Gbps internet in major US cities like Chicago. A few months later, AT&T is again in news but this time with an execution plan and it is clear that the telecom giant has started working on the project to provide the 1Gbps internet pretty soon.


The windy city of United States, will first get the AT&T fiber network in areas like Elgin, Oswego, Plainfield, Skokie, Yorkville and surroundings. The plans will be available as you like, you can use the fiber service standalone or you can bundle that along with your phone or TV subscription. The plans start from $90 and go till upto $150.

AT&T says that the work is under progress to cover more areas with this service and they hope to cover most of the city by later this summer.
