Lumia 920 and 820 are among the oldest Nokia devices running Windows Phone 8 were launched 2 years back. There is a good news to all AT&T Lumia 920 and 820 as despite their age, they continue to receive software updates, and now the Windows Phone 8.1 has started rolling out to their devices via OTA.
The WP 8.1 update made available with the Lumia’s most awaited Cyan firmware, which rolling out to AT&T’s customers, which also brings along with it a number of software changes and new and updated tools and features. To get more details on it, check out the video below:
According to AT&T, the software update comes in at about 450 MB. Due to the way Windows Phone 8 works, it can only be applied either via Wi-Fi or you can opt an alternate option using the Nokia Recovery tool.
To check for the updates, do follow the steps,
First open the Settings menu, then go to the phone update submenu, tap on the check for updates button, wait for the update option to be revealed and hit install.
