Apple launched its first wearable device in September, but the release of the Apple Watch will be happening only in the next year. With that being widely known, the company was pretty vague on announcing the details regarding the subject.
Latest rumors from Taiwan suggest that the Apple Watch will enter the mass production phase in January. It also goes on adding that the Cupertino tech titan is likely to release its smartwatch in February in time for Valentine’s Day.
Apparently, Apple will not be the only firm make the Apple Watch and the other one is Quanta based in Taiwan. The report suggests that the OEM is planning to hire a plethora of employees for its plant that will take charge of the Apple Watch production in order to reach a peak of 40,000 employees in early 2015. As of now, Quanta is the exclusive maker of the Apple Watch, but it is not known if the tech titan will make role in other manufacturers as well.
Moreover, industry analysts expect that if the Apple Watch sells pretty well, there will be a second OEM as well added next year to make the smartwatch.
