Apple’s new TV streaming box is soon to have an upgraded remote that comes along with a trackpad and uses Wii-like motion controls so that you can point and click your way through the interface.

Apart from trackpad, the remote is anticipated to have physical buttons and a microphone for Siri integration. Currently, the A8 chip is within the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus and it could also create its own way to the new streaming box as well.

Now the question arises what we are going to use with this product. A long-whispered Apple TV SDK may début besides an app store, they are opening the gates for third-party software to enter to the store. It is  most likely to have games and entertainment apps.

Those apps would be much more powerful than the ones we’ve seen on mobile devices. The Apple TV wouldn’t have the battery hindrances that an iPhone might have, that is why developers are pushing its resources as far as they’d like. Truly console-quality games might be within the territory of possibility.

A central digital hub for the home has been the dream of many tech companies before. The new hardware is likely to be a hardworking horse for Apple’s long-whispered television streaming service which is said to be launching next year.

The official details about Apple TV is likely to be announced on the company’s annual iPhone event on September 9th.
