Apple Invites Fashion Journalists for September 9 Event Confirming iWatch Launch

There are numerous rumors speculating that Apple will be launching a smartwatch called iWatch at its upcoming big event on September 9. However, there is no concrete evidence confirming the existence of the device.

According to a Reuters report, the Cupertino tech giant has invited the top fashion bloggers and editors for the aforementioned event. This move by the tech titan suggests that the firm is planning to tap into the fashion world with the launch of a wearable.


Moreover, Apple hired Paul Deneve, former CEO of Yves Saint Laurent, Angela Ahrendts, former Burberry CEO and Patrick Pruniaux, former Vice President of Tag Heuer for special projects.

Apple is believed to unleash its first wearable device iWatch at the September 9 event. Over the recent months, numerous companies including Samsung, LG, Google and Motorola have been foraying into the wearable device segment with their smartwatch offerings. And, on Tuesday we will get to know what Apple has in stock for the smartwatch enthusiasts.
