Ameyo, a tech startup, raises $5 million in Series A funding

Ameyo, the leading contact center software startup, today announced it securing $5 million in Series A round of funding led by Bangalore-based private equity firm, Forum Synergies (India)PE Fund Managers through IKMF-I.

Founded in Gurgaon, Ameyo is an advanced automation software that assists businesses in various sectors to manage their customer interactions. It serves as a platform for all-in-one communication suite for Contact Centers and Enterprises providing next-generation information and communications management capabilities including ACD, IP-PBX, CTI, IVR, Predictive dialer, Voice Logger, Unified Presence, Sales Management, Customer Care and Reporting. Ameyo call center software offers complete inbound and outbound work including Predictive Dialer, ACD and IVR system, Voice Logger and pre-integrated database, CRM and reporting capabilities.

Commenting on the funding round, Bishal Kumar, CEO of Drishti (creator of Ameyo.com and TexoCC.com) said, “Contact Centers are undergoing rapid transformation both in terms of impact to the core business and movement to cloud. This represents a 3 billion dollar global opportunity. Telesales and Inside Sales teams are adapting Sales Acceleration Technology which is a new 12 billion dollar opportunity and growing very fast. This fresh funding would catalyst our larger participation in both of these fantastic market opportunities.”

With the new funds, the company which has customers in Asia, the Middle East and Africa is planning to enter into United States. The funds will also be used to expand the company’s newer offerings, namely TexoCC (Ameyo’s cloud contact)  and Texo SEH (a sales acceleration suite). The startup received an honorable mention in the “2015 Gartner Magic Quadrant – Contact Center Infrastructure.”

Quite recently, Savaari Car Rentals chose Ameyo’s  ‘Customer Engagement Hub’ to streamline customer and driver interactions.
