Alcatel announces OneTouch Hero 2 with Stylus and Octa Core CPU

While most of the IFA 2014 attraction has been moved towards the Samsung, and Sony but there are lots of other smaller players are also here to show off their new gadgets and devices as well. Coming to the point, Alcatel announced its new OneTouch Hero 2 with Stylus, a flagship device with some pretty solid specs.

The OneTouch Hero 2 is fueled by a MediaTek MT6592 octa-core CPU with 2GB of RAM. The device also includes a 6 inches Full HD 1080P display with balanced brightness and vivid colors. Other specs include a 13.1MP rear cam, 5MP front cam, 16GB storage that can be expandable up to 64GB via MicroSD card, great build design with metal body, 802.11n Wi-Fi, 4G LTE support as connectivity features, a 3100 mAh battery and runs the latest Android 4.4 KitKat. There’s also a stylus that makes this is note competitor of sorts, though obviously Alcatel’s digital pen likely can’t start to compete with the advanced functionality of the S-Pen we have seen in Samsung’s Note series devices.

Using a set of pins on the rear, the Hero 2 has some interested connected accessories such as an LED flip cover and more that you might get to know about when it goes live to the market. Personally speaking, such things are way above my head, but the clip on part is nicely done with a multi-touch interface, and it doubles up as a flip cover for the phone.

What you think about this latest gadget, will it effect the market of others?? Comment below.
