Aerelight A1 light allows your phone to charge

OTI Lumionics, a Toronto based company, who has created Aerelight A1 OLED super thin desk lamp started its shipping at the price of $299. Aerelight has used the OLED panel to build this desk lamp, which gives efficient and brighter and softer light.

OLED stands for Organic Light Emitting diode, which is a thin carbon based organic dyes containing panel that emits light when electrical current pass through it. The light of OLED panel is more even and soft, because here light is emitted by a broad of sheet of material rather than particular bulbs.

Aerelight features 2 mm thick light emitting panel and doesn’t features any cord, but its source of light is on the base of the lamp, which is wireless charger. You can switch to any of the three level of light available by just tapping on the base. According OTI Lumionics, the Aerelight lighting panel will last for 20 years, if you use it for three hours per day at maximum brightness. OLED light emits warmer light, which is less aggressive on our eyes.

This device can even wirelessly charge your phones. This Aerelight A1 OLED is available in US and Canada at the price of $299, the price does look a bit expensive, but company claims that the light will last for 15 to 20 years. This can easily become the member of your expensive furniture, but if you work from home and the lighting of your house is not good, then you should think of getting this Aerelight for safety of your eyes.
