These days, finding a good budget laptop is very hectic task, sometimes you will find good hardware but not th build quality, sometimes you might batter issues and something more like that, but the Acer Aspire E1-570 excites purely by virtue of its price along with outstanding build quality available in three different color. For a mere £350, this 15.6 inch laptop touts a Core i3 CPU, 750GB hard disk and all the essential trimmings.
First after seeing this laptop, I thought the price range would be around $500 but as got the tag, I just got shocked, this extraordinary notebook is available at just $359 at Amazon.
The plastic, plain body is finished in matte black, red and silver and every edge softens into an inoffensive curve, without a sharp edge in sight. It is not completely lacking in style, however, if you love the red colored notebook, I am sure will fall in love with it. Despite the plastic design, build quality is solid by the way. There is a little flex and creak in the 2.2 kg device if you manhandle it, but it’s pretty powerful by budget standards.
If we talk about its internals, the Aspire E1 comes with a decent specification. The 1.8 GHz Intel Core i3 processor is a low-voltage Ivy Bridge-generation CPU, it is a little slower than today’s standard Core i3s computers, but it is perfect for everyday tasks and the 4 GB of RAM features enough headroom to take on video-and photo-editing applications. Factor in the 500 GB hard drive and the Acer’s specs are absolutely acceptable.
You can even play 3D games with moderate graphics: the integrated Intel graphics achieved an average of 46 fps in our least demanding Crysis test at 1,366 x 768 resolution and Low graphics settings.
There’s also a good selection of ports, the single USB 3 port is followed by a couple of USB 2 ports on the right-hand side panel, an SD card reader, plus a DVD writer, and both HDMI and VGA video outputs are included. Unusually for a budget laptop, Gigabit Ethernet makes the cut, and wireless networking includes single-band 802.11n and Bluetooth 4.o for better internet usability and connectivity.
Battery life is is just incomparable in this category of notebooks from different brands: the Acer’s tiny 37 Wh, 2,500 mAh battery lasted only 4 hrs 38 mins in our light-use battery test. Turn on Wi-Fi and start surfing the web, increase the screen brightness, in this situation also you will get decent battery life.

I know at just $469 it is impossible now a days to get high performance notebook or laptop, but the Acer Aspire E1 puts in a good all-round performance for the price tag. The specs is generous, the performance is great.
