Bro4U raises funds from Sargod Venture led by Alok Sargod

Bro4U, an Indian home service market place has announced it raising undisclosed funds in a funding round from Sargod Venture led by Alok Sargod.


Founded early this year, Bro4U isĀ  hyper local home service app/website that connects customers with right services providers. The startup promises seven minutes turn around for users, which is the quickest compared to any competitors available in this sector. It offers 20 different services like Cleaning, Electrical & Computer and Document services to name a few. It is unique in matching customers’ needs as they can see the available service providers in real-time while booking service.

Pramod Hedge, CEO and co-founder of Bro4U said, ” This is just like how you see nearby cars in Olacabs, similarly here you see nearby service providersĀ and users can book them seeing their prices and rating. This establishes more confidence to customers as they get instant result.”

With the fresh funds, company plans to strengthen and stabilize its place in Bangalore. Hedge also confirmed that they are in talks with Venture Capitalists to step into the next level by expanding the operations to Hyderabad and Pune market. The startup is participating in Black Friday Event scheduled from today to monday, which is a biggest sale in consumer internet space and it plans to make it a big sale day for home services.

The hyper local market in India is still in nascent stage and many startups are coming up now in this segment. Bro4U competes with the likes of better-funded rivals like UrbanClap, Zimmer and LocalOye.
